ade gmbr anak pokok kulor, durian..from seed, rupanya pokok kalau derived from seed, lebih vigour..boleh beza..n maya yg 'jakun' ni baru tahu, kalau kotiledon biji tu besar, daun pertama pun besar..haha..terkezut tadi tgk daun bacang, besar cam kat pokok..

this is my auntie Ahlam.my father's cousin. i just luv her name..since the 1st time i heard of it. she's living in Saudi. she loves Malaysia..walaupun tak reti ckp melayu..anak tiga,suami satu..hehe..atuk punya abang dok sane, kawen sane,anak die 17 orang. auntie ahlam anak bongsu..walaupun jarang berjumpa, terpisah laut merah ke laut api ke..muka tetap same..(same ke??) hikhikhik..the power of inheritence..subhannallah..

Semangat merdeka..sahutlah seruan Pakcik Rais Yatim..kibarkan jalur gemilang..bukan susah pun..kat umah, kat kete, seme ade bendera..PROUD to be MALAYSIAN!! 50 tahun merdeka..sekali merdeka selamanya Merdeka! Merdeka!!!

it had been loooooong since the last time i wrote and merapu here..

dunno why..bz kot, plus not in the mood..

bese la..macam2 jadi dalam hidup..

kerja yang tak berkesudahan..(loving it!!)

esok amek cuti. nk g derma darah..lame btol dah tak pegi donate..

June and July were hectic actually, i push myself with all my benchwork hoping to get result for by last month..but nooooo...all i'm getting were all these blank gels..dunno laa..sumthing wrong with the DNA (sure...) banana's DNA, not mine..hehe..i got to entertain 6 cute but naughty practical students..rajin tolong..i'm a bit terkilan la..sbb takleh nk deliver result with them, especially with azimah, she helped me a lot..ape nk buat, takde rezeki..

August, will be a hectic one too..

RAPD
Bulan ni, budak praktikal berkeliaran kat MARDI. Jenuh gak nak handle 7 orang..Tapi ade bebudak ni meriah skit la lab ni..ade assistant..heheheMAsalahnya ialah problem aku ialah experiment RAPD yg aku buat blom ade result, kat mane lagi la yg salah, aku pun tak tahu..takpe..dont give up..geram~

Kickboxing
Pada bulan ini aku terpaksa menyerah kalah terhadap kickboxing yg agak menggugat prinsip muamalah aku..

Duit
Bulan ni la paling kopak/kering selama beberapa tahun bekerja..adeh..

Mother’s day
Aku nangis dalam bilik air..ehehe..
Kisah bermula dengan aku yg stress pasal kete yg tayarnye dah botak, brek bunyi la..seme nak kena tukar/servis..budget mmg burst la kan..tetiba my mum dengan kuasa yg ada telah mencadangkan my uncle pinjam my cute car with tayar depan yg botak nak bawak balik kampong..bengang la beb..maksudnya seme problem kena diselesaikan b4 my uncle sampai..orang baru nak survey harga tayar..saiz tayar..ishh..

p/s: my uncle from johor. Nak travel balik perak, jauh mak aaiiiihhh..so, dia fly to KL, then naik kete balik perak..

Maka, maya yg tak pandai berlakon ini tidak berjaya meng’cover’ ketidakpuasan hatinya terhadap emaknye. Maka maya yg rasa bersalah telah cobe meminta maaf pada emaknya kerana telah membuat perangai...bukan dapat forgiveness tp my mum got angry..hambur aku dgn perkataan yg aku takleh nak terima bcoz I was there seeking for forgiveness…. dah la tak bagi aku peluang nak explain nape aku “meragam” camtu..so aku masuk bilik air..sob sob sob huwaaaa..!!Mak aku kate aku berkira..mmg la aku agak keberatan nak serah kete kat orang..kalo aku ikut sekali takpe la..sayang kete..pastu takut jadi pape aku yg takde duit ni gak la kena layan kete tu..huuuhu jenuh la nak melawan kata hati yg mcm tanak bagi kete tu..setan byk le katakan..amek mase gak aku nak positifkan diri..ingat.. “sekarang kite tolong orang, in future kite susah insyaAllah tuhan permudahkan, tolong kite..” kate2 ni aku guna nak pujuk diri aku yg degil dan kedekut nie..huhuhu

Engine Oil vs Water
Setelah kete pulang ke rumah, lima hari terpisah..kuat gak die keje..lebey 1000 km. so aku nak buat baik la kat kete sendiri… Plus..kerana terlalu bersemangat nak menyelesaikan masalah engine stutter yg perpunca dari kesumbatan throttle valve. Nak carik throttle valve, tetiba teringat nak boh air radiator, maka telah ku tuang air dalam chamber engine oil.seme pasal distracted by the throttle valve (alas an..hikhikhik!!) adeh sekali lagi..duit lagi..Stupid act selama 15 saat ini bakal menghabiskan gaji aku sebanyak RM 200+++++

well, today we had a jamuan persaraan for Dr. Salma Idris..

n i have this intention to make people crazy about cheesecake..(hehe)

it had been long since the last time i make this cake..nearly a year or more..

i made this especially for Dr.Salma..i admire her so much..

her achievements, passion in her work, lookin' at her i always say to myself, "if she can do it , i surely can do just like her, or maybe better..it's just a matter of time, learn..then you'll succeed.."

and more, i like her ketegasan..firmness...tapi perfectionist tu tamau..as Dr. Shukor said, she's a bit fussy..but who cares...she's damn good in her work..

nak boh gambar Dr. Salma Idris takde plak..so gambar cheesecake je la..hahaha...

ade org tanye resepi cheesecake tadi..meh nak share..senang je..

500g philedelphia cheese

3/4 cup of castor sugar

1/2 cup of whipped cream

3 teaspoon of soy gelatin in 1/2 cup of hot water

10-15 pcs of biscuits

1/2 cup of melted butter

blueberry topping as needed

1st, hancurkan itu biskut kasar2 je, jgn hancur sangat, nanti terlalu padat, tuang melted butter..kacau sampai sebati..tuang dalam loyang..tekan2 sampai rata..biskut ni BASE cheesecake nie..then masukkan dalam freezer untuk dikeraskan..

2nd, pukul itu cheese sampai lembut (cam pukul butter mase buat kek) then masuk gula, whipped cream, gelatin..puttaaaaarrrr lagi sampai sebati..tuang dalam loyang..bekukan dalam fridge..1-2 jam..buboh topping sesuka hati dan sesedap rasa..haha..dan jemputla menjamu selera..sila-sila..

itu sahaja..selamat mencuba!!

tarikh aku daftar masuk matrikulasi kat Kolej Kurniawan..Cheras..
pejam celik pejam celik dah TUJUH tahun!!!

haa..selasa lepas aku jalan2 area tu n make an effort untuk melihat kolej yg telah lama ditinggalkan..huhuhu..sungguh menyedihkan..pupus dah kolej ni...

dulu punya la meriah..

padang bola nye luas, kat ctu la kena kawat ramai..men bola, badminton, etc n teringat cane budak hayat kawat..sore pompuan je banyak..sbb pompuan majoriti budak hayat..kelakar btol..

bangunan akademik dah jadi cam umah hantu..cat kelabu still ok..tapi sebelah belakang tu cermin seme dah takde..rasenye tu area makmal..haaa...seme nye masih segar dalam ingat..
actually kolej tu not bad la untuk jumlah pelajar yg tak ramai mane..

asrama..blok asrama pempuan..kind of umah kedai la..dorm 1/1 yang best tu kat tepi sekali..kitorang jadik kaki sekodeng malam..bawah tu ade tempat santai la..ade la tv sebijik, couch yg dah nak lunyai..reception tv tak seberapa sbb dok celah2 bukit..hehe..
sekarang tempat tu dah jadi bengkel kereta..hahahah!!!

food court..teringat lagi bedmate aku mengigau "food court..food court.."
food court yg best..tak le best mane pon, cuma kitorg baik dgn pakcik yg jual makanan kat ctu, so, selalu dpt discount..ape la kaba pakcik tu..ermm..food court dah jadi pusat komuniti masyarakat melayu/islam kat ctu.. bentuk same, tapi ade budak2 men badminton kat ctu, ade jual2an la rasenye..

segala2nya dah berubah..
rase cam nak pusing balik ke belakang..mengingatkan bestnye era "matrikulasi" dulu...
best sangat sampai result pekse jadi mangsa..haa...sape suruh... (^_^)

How to Make Windows Start Up Faster

I don't know about you, but I love spending the first 10 minutes of every workday watching Windows start up. It's like a Zen thing. If you'd rather get right to work, though, the following tips should help you make Windows start much more quickly.

Lighten the Load

A typical PC loads a lot of programs every time it starts. Each of the icons in your system tray (the area near your clock) represents an auto-start application. And there are probably other programs on your machine that start automatically but don't make their presence known so easily. Each autoloading app slows your boot time--a little or a lot. And because most of them continue to run in the background, they rob you of a little performance.

Before you start eliminating autoloaders, though, make sure you can undo your changes. In Windows XP, Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore. Select Create a restore point, click Next, call your restore point something like before removing autoloaders, and choose Create. Click Close once you've created the restore point.

In Windows Vista, select Start, Control Panel, System. Under 'Tasks' on the right side of the window, click System Protection. In the System Properties box that comes up, click Create at the bottom of the window.

XP users should now select Start, Run, type msconfig, and press . (In Vista, select Start, type msconfig into the Search box, and press .) Click the Startup tab, and you'll see a list of all your autoloading programs, each with a check box. Uncheck an item, and it will no longer load at startup.

Choose Your Autoloading Apps

Which applications should you leave checked so that they continue to autoload? First and foremost, you don't want to operate without your antivirus, firewall, and other security programs. Yes, these programs slow your PC's boot-up and shutdown, and they can even cause conflicts, but the cost of not having them running is too high to bear.

For any other program in the list, use your judgment. Don't ask yourself "Is it a good program?" but "Does it need to be on all the time?" For instance, I unchecked Adobe Elements' Photo Downloader, a program that I use whenever I download photos from my camera, because it serves no purpose when I'm not downloading photos. On the other hand, I allow Copernic Desktop Search to autoload because it needs to index my data files continually.

After unchecking the programs that you don't need to autoload at startup, click OK and reboot. Windows will load with a very wordy message box that might look like an error message. Just check Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when Windows starts (the wording is slightly different in Vista) at the bottom of the dialog box and click OK.

Windows Dusting and Cleaning

If an autoloader diet doesn't sufficiently accelerate your boot-up, try these tweaks:

Clean out the Registry. The larger your Windows Registry, the longer the OS will take to boot. My favorite Registry cleaner is ChemTable's $30 Reg Organizer, which is both a powerful Registry editor and a general Windows maintenance tool. If you don't want to pay to put things in order, try the less-powerful EasyCleaner from ToniArts.

Use fewer fonts. Loading hundreds of system fonts takes time. If you have more than 500 fonts on your PC, remove a few. Sue Fisher's free The Font Thing utility will help you whittle your font selection down to size.

Add RAM. Faster hardware means faster boots (and shutdowns, and everything in between). There's no cheaper, more effective way to improve your hardware's performance than by adding RAM.

Well, it went well..puas hati la dapat ikut trip nie..
DXN ni ialah sebuah syarikat ubatan alternative-herba yang my mum sangat suka akannya..Malaysian product..that’s the spirit. DXN ni low profile n sempoi je..tapi dalam senyap2 dah masuk ke 90 negara..tak caye? http://www.dxn2u.com tengok kat cni..
Ummi saya suka berniaga dan die suka sangat DXN ni sebab sambil berniaga dia dapat tolong orang..supaya kekal sihat insyaAllah..

Kilang DXN ni terletak di Kedah..bukit wang,HQ DXN kat alor setar..
Since I’m a biologist, this trip meant a lot since I was exposed to all kinds of herbs..and industrial-scale proceses to produce all this product in a very sophisticated way..
Kalo ikutkan canggih, rasenye DXN boleh jadi lebih canggih daripada yang ada sekarang maksudnya boleh guna machine 99.9% tapi tu mcm selfish la plak kan..at least kalo semi-depended ni ada banyak la peluang pekerjaan dapat diwujudkan..

Penghasilan besar-besaran kulat ganoderma nie sangat menarik..aku ni selalu jugak tengok kulat ni..nak tahu katne? Kat contaminated culture media..hahhaha!!! sila rujuk gambar di bawah ye..besar kulat nie..kulat merah aka ganoderma..media kultur die habuk kayu+kapur (organic) pastu media nie akan jalani pembasmian kuman aka sterilization. Autoclave machine tu sangat la besar..bole masuk 5000 beg kultur sekali proses.panjang betol…kat lab tu kan bese nye kecik je..besar mesin basuh..yang ni panjang cam 2 gerabak keretapi..haha..

Haa..ni tempat pengeraman/kultur…tempat di mana kulat2 ni akan membesar dengan sihat dan gumbira..Kulat yang kami boleh lawat ni hanya akan menghasilkan produk kegunaan luaran eg: sabun, syampu.. kalo yang nak digunakan untuk makan, tempat tu takleh masuk..lagipun lokasi nye berbeza..jauh daripada manusia..

Satu fakta menarik tentang penghasilan kulat ni ialah media kultur tadi bila dah harvest kulatnya akan dibuat baja..haa..rupenya siap ade usaha menghasilkan baja kompos..siap bela cacing tu..tapi masalah yang belom dapat diatasi ialah plastic pembungkus tu..plastik kan susah nak degrade..erm..maybe I can help them on producing this biodegradable plastic..in the future laa…hehe..i like this environment-friendly effort, at least they have the awareness to save the planet, not like other selfish companies..ikut suka depa nak buang hape2..eiiii..geram!

Then, kitoang melawat tempat penghasilan kopi..wah..sedap baunya..bau kopi..n I like DXN coffee very much..sebelum ni aku tak minum kopi pun, tapi kopi ni berjaya menambat hati..hehe..gambar takde la sbb takleh amek gambar dalam tu..
Then lawat kilang penghasilan RGGL..dalam tu siap kena pakai uniform khas..yang tutup badan, muka, siap dengan sarung kaki..haha..kat ctu dapat tengok cara ubat masuk kapsul, ubat jadi tablet, packaging proses..n it is interesting to see that every country has their own packaging..contoh, kalo kopi tu, Malaysian suka dalam kotak, org Filipina suka dlm plastic, indo pun same..pastu kalo ubat2 ke UAE-arab botol besar-besar..ade packaging warna gelap..terang..macam2..

Pastu singgah gudang untuk export kopi plak…bangga plak tengok phrase “PRODUCT OF MALAYSIA”. Besar gak gudang tu..penuh..dan tour guide tu kata 55% KOPI yg dah tersedia tu untuk ke Filipina..suka btol, orang Filipina nie..bagus..bagus..

Then we spent the night at SERI MALAYSIA alor setar..

Esok tu singgah Bukit Kayu Hitam,, nothing much..until I found this duty free chocolate heaven..haa..borong la ape lagi..then beli buah2 skit..citer pasal buah..ni ade skit gambar buah mangga yg sangat besar..cuba tengok gambar mangga yg kecik tu..haa tu saiz mangga yg kite bese tengok..pastu buah kundang..wane oren..sedap btol..manis.. buah kundang ni tak same species dgn mangga tapi sedara level genera..kome paham ke idak..naseb le..aye maleh nak translate ke bahasa awam nie..

Kesimpulannya trip ni amatla bermanfaat..bole kenal lebih ramai orang..belajar banyak benda..fahami banyak perkara…yg paling penting dapat jalannnnnnn2 dengan mak saya yg memang cantik lagi sporting..luv u ummi..mmuuuaahhhhsss!!!
